This year’s Lion’s Gate Portal peaks on 8 August 2026, creating an 8/8/8 numerology date. Jupiter - the planet of expansion, abundance and big possibilities - is travelling through Leo alongside the Sun. Venus has just entered its home sign of Libra, making relationships, creativity and receiving support part of the story. Saturn is offering a much-needed reality check about what it takes to build the life you keep visualising.

And, perhaps most importantly, the portal peaks just four days before a total solar eclipse in Leo on 12 August. Astronomically, that eclipse will cross Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain and a small part of Portugal, with a partial eclipse visible across many other Northern Hemisphere locations.
